Eliza Park takes enormous pride in its ability to provide a wide range of services … a ‘one stop shop’.
Based at Kerrie, the ELIZA PARK RACING DIVISION is headed up by Group One winning trainer Sue Ellis who manages all aspects of an enterprise which is gaining rapid renown among the racing fraternity. Sue’s foreperson, Anna Doherty, is a highly accomplished horseperson and registered trainer, supervising pre-trainers, spellers and our own racehorses.
With access to a 1600m sand track, barriers, a walking machine, covered roundyard and roomy boxes, horses under the Eliza Park banner thrive in the idyllic surrounds … the ideal leadup to
the hustle and bustle of stable life.
It’s certainly working: recent graduates of our pre-training division include Group One winner Shinzig, Queen of Queens (SA Oaks-G3) and last spring’s Sandown Guineas-G2 hero Schilling, along with a host of city and country winners.
Meanwhile, Eliza Park also offers the all-so-vital breaking in facility under the watchful eye of internationally experienced Darren Mackereth. And Darren certainly has plenty to hang his hat on, having broken in racing superstar, Weekend Hussler.
Where else but Eliza Park.
