FIRST SHINZIG FOAL

Danehill’s Group One winning sprinter, Shinzig, covered a memorable book of mares last spring and it took just two days into the new season to see the first one ‘drop’.

At 10pm on Sunday (2 August), Bianconi mare, Super Fund, may well have written herself into the history books by dropping a lovely colt who, according to Eliza Park’s General Manager Operations, David Somers, has “plenty of quality, good bone and is correct in front”.

Super Fund, a winner by five lengths at Sandown, is a half sister to Lascaux (winner of 26 races and Group placed in Dubai) from the immediate family of Group One winning 2YOs Burst and Victory Prince.
