The response to Eliza Park’s recent announcement regarding our service fee reductions (up to 50%) is overwhelming.

The consensus is that Eliza Park has reacted proactively in the current climate, praising our initiative in keeping service fees attainable and fair.

Following the Australian Easter Yearling Sale, acceptance of the market condition has forced the majority of stud farms to cut service fees and many breeders to reconsider their options. I encourage you to contact us for the best terms we can possibly provide. Speak to either David Somers on 0428 440 330 or Mark Lindsay on 04316 334 338 to discuss our terms which include a live foal guarantee, extended payment terms (31 March 2010) and transfer of a free return to any mare sold in foal to an Eliza Park stallion.

As for Easter, Eliza Park was delighted with the way the progeny of God’s Own sold and, most importantly, the fact they ended up in the nation’s leading stables.
God’s Own averaged $145,000 at Easter, representing 4.5 times his first season fee, and sold up to $300,000 for a half sister to Caulfield Guineas-G1 winner Wonderful World.

In the coming weeks we will be offering a number of mares and foals at both the Great Southern Sale and the Magic Millions National Sales on the Gold Coast.
