Speedy chestnut, Mystical Bond, captured a deserved second up victory at Hamilton on Monday (30 March), scoring by two lengths over the 1100m journey.

Trained by Sue Ellis at Eliza Park, the 4YO son of Special Bond has clearly thrived on his rural ‘digs’ and was cherry ripe for the Hamilton assignment.

Resuming in early March following a 31 week break, Mystical Bond had won previously at Yarra Valley.

A son of the Fairy King horse Special Bond, Mystical Bond is out of a sister to the multiple stakesplaced Outback Lad and hails from the immediate family of Make Mine Roses, Bold Rancher, Rose of St George, Red Rancher and the Brisbane flyer Chief de Beers.
