On behalf of each of us at Eliza Park, we’d like to extend our sympathy to those poor souls who have suffered the loss of loved ones due to the devastating bush fires throughout Victoria.

The death toll continues to rise and the damage to property is inestimable. To those in the very midst of it all, you are in everyone’s thoughts.

And to the men and women who continually put their lives on the line to fight these fires, mere words are inadequate to describe your commitment and bravery.

The word ‘champion’ is all too often bandied about in the racing industry, but your continued efforts certainly add a whole new dimension to the accolade.
