Esprit de Roses has returned to racing in sensational form, winning two and grabbing a second in three runs since her eight months break.

The Bel Esprit mare was at it again at Morphettville today, getting up right on the line after being boxed in when turning for home.

She got the verdict by the barest of margins, but it once again showed her fighting qualities.

Esprit de Roses has now won five and placed in two of 13 starts – all bar three of them in town.

Esprit de Roses is from the Rubiton mare Coming Up Roses, a sister to multiple Group winner Innovation Girl and closely related to Group Two winning 2YO Incumbent and Doncaster winner Soho Square.

Purchased from the 2006 Adelaide Magic Millions, it’s worth noting that Eliza Park will consign three Bel Esprit yearlings to next year’s Adelaide MM.
